Stay Fit During Quarantine Time, Don’t Loose your Health During the Lockdown

Approximately 40% of the world population has been lockdown amid the global pandemic due to Coronavirus. Staying fit during the quarantine time is most important so that you don’t lose your health during the lockdown. Staying at home means that you do have lots of time for many things that you were not able to do during a regular lifetime, you have to spend a planed life in your home and keep yourself healthy and fit.

We have listed down some basic tips for you which can help you to stay in shape and healthy so that you can strengthen your immune system and fight with the deadly virus.

  1. Drink lots of liquids, especially water to stay hydrated
  2. Eat a healthy and balanced diet during the lockdown
  3. Sleep properly and keep your mind and body at rest
  4. Do a regular workout in your home

Drink Liquids & Water

During the lockdown & quarantine, drink lots of water and other hot liquids like tea & coffee to stay hydrated. A body with less water is more vulnerable to virus attacks than a well-hydrated body.

The Breakfast

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day, starting your day with a healthy meal is most important. We suggest you not to eat a heavy breakfast as you are not going out to burn lots of calories during the lockdown and quarantine time. A perfect meal could be simple chapati and butter with some leftover curry of the previous night dinner. Include as much as vitamin C you can into your breakfast. Vitamin C helps to strengthen your immune system and tomatoes have lots of vitamin C, so include 1 or 2 tomatoes into your breakfast. Avoid heavy & oily tempting parathas during the quarantine time.

The Lunch

Lunchtime could be more crucial for you as your basic appetite for eating a delicious tempting lunch during your normal life before the Coronavirus (COVID 19) breakout forced us to quarantine us in our homes

.It is highly recommended that you don’t go for heavy lunches that you use to eat in your normal life during the work hours in your office, instead, we suggest you eat light and healthy lunches. You can eat plenty of foods that are tasty and yet are light and easy to digest. You are not going for a walk outside your home as you have quarantined yourself in your home so stay away from all those heavy mutton & chicken karahis. Instead, we suggest you have some rice at lunch. Some fried rice or chicken pulao with raita is can be a very good option for your lunch. Of course, you can rotate your lunch with other healthy and light recipes to keep your taste buds get going.

Don’t forget to include raita in your meal no matter if you are eating pulao or something else. Yogurt (Raita) has lots of vitamin C so don’t forget your intake of vitamin C will help to increase your immunity against Coronavirus and will keep you fit and healthy during quarantine and lockdown time.

 The Dinner

Your dinner is the last meal of the day and it is as much as important as breakfast. Eating a healthy dinner is way more important than breakfast because you still can afford a mistake of eating a nonhealthy and heavy breakfast as you have a full day ahead to digest heavy breakfast but if you have a wrong dinner, you should keep in mind that you don’t have time to digest your unhealthy and heavy dinner.

We suggest you take your dinner a minimum of 4 hours before you go to bed so that your dinner shall get digested properly. Going straight to bed after eating dinner is never a wise thing to do and especially in quarantine and lockdown. Lockdown and quarantine are all about staying fit and healthy.

Sleep Properly

Sleep is very important to stay healthy and fit. Proper sleep not also help to rest your body and mind it also strengthens your immune system. Quarantine and lockdown at home does not mean that you destroy your sleeping routine, instead, you have to more organize a regular with your sleeping routine than ever before.

Workout at Home

Staying fit at any given time is directly linked to your physical activities. During a lockdown and quarantine, your physical activities are reduced to your home only so you need to keep yourself active. There are enough exercise and workouts that you can easily perform in your room that will get you in shape and make you more fitter than ever before. We also advise you to consume less water at night.
