Mahira Khan meets with Secretary-General of the UN on 40th Afghan refugee’s day. Secretary-General of the UN (United Nations) is currently on an official visit to Pakistan. It has been 40 years since Pakistan is the house of millions of Afghan refugees.
We all know that Mahira Khan is the Goodwill Ambassador of the UN for refugees. During an event in Islamabad, The Secretary-General of the UN António Guterres met with Mahira Khan. The Secretary-General of the UN António Guterres thanked Pakistan for the extraordinary support of the Afghan peace process and extend his appreciation for Pakistan. He also expressed his pleasure on the meeting, Mahira Khan, The Secretary-General of UN António Guterres tweeted

Dressed in all black dress, Mahira Khan was looking stunning. She was quick to respond and quoted his tweet by saying that she also felt honored & a pleasure to meet him. Mahira Khan expressed her hope that she is looking forward to work further with the UN for the betterment of Afghan refugees alongside other Pakistanis.
